Better trailering: no more fear when slipping
Only use the trailer as a convenient parking space? Not necessarily. If you follow a few rules, you no longer need to worry at the slipway

Compact trailer boats are still very much in vogue - the sheer number of new models in this segment proves this. Many of these small fun machines also have another advantage: due to their size and weight, they are trailerable and can be transferred to a new area in just a few hours by car. Were it not forthe fear of the slippery slipway and the effort involved in letting the water in. Slipping and rigging don't take much time at all - especially if you're used to it. In fact, slipping is comparable to a mooring manoeuvre in your own box: At some point, every move is done in your sleep and nobody thinks much about the procedures.

We show you how to stay really calm on the ramp in several instructions. After all, the very thought of slipping the boat apparently makes many owners break out in a sweat. With these instructions, you can turn your trailer into more than just a convenient parking space in the garden.

Another special feature is theSlipping in flowing waters. Here, the slipways are usually even more slippery due to changing water levels. At the same time, the cross-current makes it all the more difficult to launch the boat into the water in a coordinated manner and dock it to the trailer with pinpoint accuracy.
